The Boston Art Radar is a first-of-its-kind resource for connecting people to the cultural spaces that shape Greater Boston’s visual arts community. From artist-run spaces and studio buildings to galleries and museums, Radar is an on-the-ground guide driven by neighborhoods rather than destinations.
Each neighborhood features a mix of carefully selected venues, public art, and cultural hubs. Working with a cohort of neighborhood ambassadors, Boston Art Review adds locations to the map by invitation or nomination only.
The summer issue of our print edition was released on May 16, 2026, alongside Issue 16, and is available at each of the venues included on the map.
