Curated by MassArt Director of Graduate Exhibitions, Felicia Scott Flint, the Summer 2026 MFA Thesis Exhibition, Carry/Held, is on view at MassArt x SoWa from July 18 - August 7, 2026.

Carry/Held features the culminating thesis work of eight 2026 MFA candidates, completing their master's degrees in MassArt's Interdisciplinary Low-Residency MFA program.

ON-CAMPUS MFA THESIS COMPONENT: The 2026 MassArt MFA Thesis includes a concurrent student-curated on-campus exhibition in the Patricia Doran Graduate Gallery. Featuring the culminating thesis work of eight 2026 MFA candidates, completing their master's degrees in MassArt's Interdisciplinary Low-Residency MFA program, the exhibition is on view July 20 – August 7.

PUBLIC ARTIST TALKS: The eight featured 2026 Master of Fine Arts candidates will also present PUBLIC ARTIST TALKS on Wednesday, 7/29 at 5:00pm ET via Zoom and in the MassArt Design + Media Center Lecture Hall.  REGISTER HERE.

FIRST FRIDAY: Join us for a closing First Friday reception on Friday, August 7, 2026, 5-9pm at the MassArt x SoWa gallery.
