Stars Between Spaces

Stars Between Spaces, Steven Cabral’s first solo show as a Kingston member, begins with a simple gesture: pouring color onto raw canvas. Working primarily in acrylic alongside crayon, marker, and mixed media, Cabral builds each painting through a process of layering, sanding, scraping, and erasure. The surfaces evolve through negotiation somewhere between accident and intention.
