Curated by Brenda Melgoza Ciardiello and Stéphanie Williams, the exhibition will bring together vibrant work exploring place as memory and memory as place. Ideal work will engage with place as an accumulation of lived moments — a personal geography — drawing on universal themes of longing and nostalgia in order to interrogate the impulse to preserve a moment in time, real or imagined, as an act of self-definition and connection.
