Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Haitian Artists Assembly of Massachusetts (HAAM) and its partnership with Boston City Hall, site of its first exhibition in October of 1995, this exhibition highlights the works of Myrlene Mimi Désir, Roberto “Roga” Gabriel and Patrick Tintin joined by five guest artists members of HAAM. The works on view dance between abstraction and figuration to reflect the richness and diversity of Haitian identity rooted in a complex history.
