Harvest marks the first art exhibition feature by After Awakening, a Boston-based independent streetwear and apparel brand founded by Haitian-American designer Anaïse Louis.
Blending fashion, art, and immersive installation, Harvest expands After Awakening’s design practice beyond apparel to explore ideas of labor, growth, transformation, and becoming. Inspired by the natural cycles of planting, tending, and harvesting, the exhibition considers the often unseen work and sustained intention that shape us long before the outcome can be seen.
Rooted in After Awakening’s connection to workwear, storytelling, and the dignity of labor, Harvest transforms the gallery into an immersive environment where clothing, imagery, objects, and installation come together to explore the relationship between people, place, work, and transformation.
Presented by Street Theory Collective, Harvest introduces audiences to a new dimension of Anaïse Louis and After Awakening’s creative practice—bringing fashion into conversation with contemporary art and experiential installation.
Every harvest begins with a seed.
