Permission to drift
A summer art exhibition curated by Robin Hauck of Misstropolis
Life is heavy. This exhibition is an invitation to step inside, breathe out, and experience joy. An explosion of color visible through the gallery’s floor-to-ceiling windows beckons passersby. Cicely Carew’s cloud-like sculptures and Adria Arch’s 3-D paintings drift from the ceiling. Eva Lundsager’s rippling paintings turn landscapes into ecstatic escapes. Yuko Oda’s creatures explore surreal, speculative hybridity. Color, space, and movement carry the show’s themes, offering a reprieve from our culture of angst and division—a reminder of our shared humanity and collective desire for beauty.
