Between Two Worlds: Making Sense of Modern Life From Indigenous Perspectives features contemporary Native American artists who combine themes and techniques that draw from the mix of modern and traditional resources to create something unique. This commingling is both unique to each artist and universal in the illustration of the inherent eye towards both beauty and pragmatism seen when any cultures, including Indigenous, exchange with each other.

From curator Nayana LaFond: “The artists included in this show are a small selection of incredible Native American artists currently tackling these themes in their work. They are grappling with personal questions of identity during a time when we are simultaneously being stifled, highlighted, and overlooked by society.”
