2026 Student Lending Art Program Exhibition and Lottery

Featuring over 500 original works available from our collection, the Student Lending Art Program is a beloved MIT tradition where students can borrow artwork from the collection for free.

The exhibition features original works of art, primarily prints and photographs, drawn from the List Center’s Student Lending Collection. This annual exhibition, is free and open to the general public as well as the MIT community. 

Only enrolled undergraduate and graduate MIT students can enter the lottery for a chance to borrow artwork from the collection and must enter the lottery online before September 11 at 11:59 PM.

Winners will be notified on September 14 and will be sent a link to schedule which day to come select an artwork in person. Students do not need to visit the gallery to enter the lottery, but winners will need to be present to select and take home the artwork between September 15-19.
